Fire Station Cottage is a pet friendly holiday home in Comrie, Perthshire. The cottage is a modern, well-equipped, family accommodation that sleeps five people.
This comfortable cottage has a well-equipped modern kitchen with dining area and a utility room. A cosy, comfortable lounge with a Morso wood burning stove, Freeview television, DVD and Wi-Fi as well as a selection of books, maps, guide books and games.
It’s located in a central location with local shops, restaurants and walks nearby.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐A rare find with a private parking space and a garden
“We stayed here for two weeks and really enjoyed the comforts in this property. It has a large kitchen with lots of natural light from the sky light windows and a lovely view into the garden. Underfloor heating and a large TV were a nice surprise and there is a grand bath and lovely shower with stone flooring. The beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Location is ideal as it’s private yet easily accessible and it has its own parking space. The garden at the rear of the property has so many small birds visit it was a pleasure to sit in and watch the world go by.”

Parking is available for one car behind the accommodation. There is also on-street parking and a free car park in the village. There is a small patio area with seating behind the cottage. Access to the cottage is from the rear with level access. There is a flight of stairs inside the property to the second floor.

On the ground floor there is a spacious lounge with sofa seating, log-fire, television and DVD player. WiFi is available. There is a fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. A separate dining room with a table and seating for five people. There is also a walk-in shower room with toilet and hand basin on the ground floor.
UPSTAIRS
Upstairs there is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom, and a large family bathroom.

The village offers a good selection of shops including a butcher, baker, delicatessen, general store, pharmacy, post office, spa (Senses), hairdresser, and coffee shops. There are several hotels in the village with public bars and restaurants. There is also a golf course and a variety of walks.

“As a family of four we had a very enjoyable stay at the Fire Station Cottage and found that it catered exceptionally well for all our requirements. There are many highlights to the property, however special mention goes to the high spec kitchen and bathrooms. Would happily return and spend time in the area which offers lots of outdoor opportunities on the doorstep or further afield within the Perthshire area. Bring your walking boots, bikes and kayaks and have lots of fun.”
