Osprey View offfers spacious holiday accommodation for up to 8 guests in the beautiful surroundings of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Nearby Loch Earn with easy access to nearby walks, cycle routes and fishing on the loch. Boat launch and mooring is also available on the loch (please enquire for details). The property has 4 bedrooms, two twin rooms (one downstairs) and two king-size rooms (one en-suite). There is a large open plan kitchen area with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. WiFi is available. There is also a balcony to the front of the property.

ACCESS

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac within the village, the detached house has off-street parking for up to four cars.  There are ten steps up to the entrance.

DOWNSTAIRS

The front door opens into a spacious hallway leading to an open-plan kitchen dining room with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is a spacious living room with television, DVD player and patio doors leading to the garden and decking area. There is a separate reading room with patio doors looking out towards Loch Earn. Off the kitchen is a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, drinks/additional fridge and ceiling mounted drying rack. From the hallway there is a twin room and a shower room with toilet.

UPSTAIRS

Upstairs there is a second twin room and two king-size bedrooms (one en-suite). Plus a family bathroom.

OUTSIDE

The property is south facing and there is a steep garden to the rear of the property and two decking areas to the front and side with views towards Loch Earn. There is a small childrens’ play area at the beginning of the road.

NEARBY

A few minutes walk from Osprey View guests will find the loch with two local bars and restaurants. There is a village shop and post office less than five minutes walk from the house.

Lochearnhead, situated in an idyllic, picturesque holiday location, is an ideal centre for a variety of leisure pursuits including walking, fishing (Mar – Oct), 8 golf courses within half an hours’ drive, cycling on dedicated pathways, waterskiing and canoeing. This part of Scotland is a paradise for the walker with leisurely strolls in the surrounding foothills, or serious hill treks for the more energetic – guided walks can be arranged locally.

There is easy travel to explore other local villages such as Killin with the spectacular Falls of Dochart. Follow the road past Killin along Loch Tay to Aberfeldy, enjoying the views of Ben Lawers, Perthshire’s highest mountain, part of the National Trust, and boasts many precious wild flowers. Perth, Oban, Stirling and Crieff are also easily accessible. Shop and pub 800 yards.
