World of Wings is Scotland’s largest and most extensive Bird of Prey collection with
wonderful Hawks, Eagles, Owls, Falcons and other exotics.
It is located in the village of Luggiebank just on the outskirts of Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire.
Bird of Prey Experiences
Handling and flying sessions are some of the most popular events, with everyone from children to grandparents loving the experience of getting up close and personal with these magnificent creatures. The public flying display is included in all experiences.
There is also the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of having one of these majestic birds flying straight on to your glove. There’s no feeling quite like it! If you’d like to book a handling session for one of these events, World of Wings are always happy to cater to special occasions. Run times vary between 2-5 hours.
You can of course just visit to see the bird collection and flying displays and have a snack in the Cabin Cafe.

Summer Displays
Displays 12 Noon and 3pm
In the summer months (when the clocks change) there are two daily flying displays. The first one is at 12.00 noon and the second one is at 3.00pm. They last approximately 1 hour, depending on the birds and the weather. Winter displays times start when the clocks change.
These feature two different teams of birds. On very wet or windy days you can still see a flying display within the Education Centre. Your entry tickets allows you entry to both shows.
