‘Tis the season to be jolly and Balquhidder kicks off the “social festive period” with a candlelit Christmassy gathering for us all to catch up with friends, family and neighbours and get in the spirit!
Yes! A very warm welcome is in store for anyone who would like to come along to Balquhidder village hall on the evening of Sat 16th December for a chance to finally catch up with (or even meet for the first time) friends, neighbours and families from Balquhidder glen between 7.30 pm and 9.30 pm.
With the Christmas tree aglow, and Santa behind the bar, the warm candlelit atmosphere will be filled with excited anticipation of Christmas, all intermingled with a few carols and festive music and cheer.
A glass of mulled wine and roasted chestnuts will greet you on arrival and bowls of stovies (£4) and a bar will be on offer throughout.
No advance tickets required. Donations at the door, stovies £4 and pay bar.
If you are staying in one of our self-catering holiday cottages over the weekend of 16th December why not pop along to Balquhidder Village Hall to meet with some of the residents of Balquhidder and celebrate the start of the Christmas festivities here in our lovely scenic part of Scotland.
