Go Ape in Aberfoyle is a fantastic place for large or small groups ready for an adrenaline filled experience. Not only does Go Ape boast the 2 longest zip lines in the UK, it is also one of the best high rope courses in Scotland. At heights of up to 46 meters above the ground, and course distances of up to 400m, you may find yourself flying through the trees along a zip line or tackling a challenging obstacle course above ground in the Tree Top Adventure experience. You get to choose from several different courses and activities varying in length, so you can tailor your adventure to exactly how you want it. For something different, but fun and challenging, Escape Room Scotland is a serious contender. The recent trend of Escape rooms has really taken off, and once you have experienced an Escape Room for yourself, you will see exactly why. Not only is it challenging and fun, but it can also be rather competitive. Each room holds between 2 to 6 people, and once locked inside, together you must solve several clues, puzzles and riddles to get out of the room. You have one hour to escape, which sounds like a long time in theory, but once you’re in there time really flies! Your group can be divided up into smaller groups to work on different clues at the same time, which can really lead to some competition within the group as a whole! You also get to see previous time records of the groups that have escaped before you, so it sets a challenge to beat the record time set. If you have a larger group and need more rooms, it becomes a race to see who can escape first. Overall, a super fun experience, but be warned, thinking outside the box is essential!
