The day starts with a varied choice of breakfast in or out at one of the village cafes. Buy a paper and look round the shops. A lazy stroll by the river back to the Cottage, admiring the views all around. Thereafter it can be an activity day, walking, golfing, fishing, biking, or enjoying the Outdoor Centre at Crieff Hydro. Alternatively, there is so much to see by car with Glencoe only one hour away to the West, or go North to Aberfeldy, Dunkeld or Pitlochry, each reached in close to one hour. Or go slightly further to the House of Bruar for a big shopping experience.
Once lockdown restrictions have lifted, are there any businesses you would recommend to your guests? i.e. restaurants/cafes/local businesses etc.
Comrie has 3 restaurants each with a bar area offering different styles of dining. The Deil’s Cauldron offers fine dining. There is an excellent delicatessen which makes ready made meals and the best of our local artists display in the Goldfinch Gallery.
