Auchterarder (Uachdar Àrdair, or Upper Highland in Gaelic) is a small town near the Ochil Hill is Perthshire. The mile and a half long High Street has earned the town its nickname “The Long Town”. Visitors to Auchterarder will find restaurants, coffee shops, galleries and other attractions in the town as well as popular tourist spots outside.
The Auchterarder Golf Club welcomes visitors all year round. The parkland course has spectacular views towards Gleneagles and the Ochil Hills and runs alongside the PGA Centenary Course at Gleneagles Hotel.
