7 Deanston Distillery, Doune
Scene: It is here that Claire notices that the Comte St Germain’s men are ridden with plague, costing him his wine cargo.
Season/Ep: Appeared in episode 2.02 “Not in Scotland Anymore”. It provided the setting for the wine warehouse owned by Jared at the port of Le Havre.
Location: On the banks of the River Teith and near Doune Castle.
8 River Run, the plantation in North Carolina
Scene: Three days of filming took place here, using a set built from scratch to represent an American ‘southern’ plantation house. This turned out to be (as we suspected) owned by Jamie’s Aunt Jocasta.
