About Taymore House
Perched on the banks of the River Tay you will enjoy some of Scotland’s most beautiful landscapes. Forty acres of glorious gardens and grounds surrounded by breath taking views. A real treat for large groups or special occasions. Taymore House and Gardens is available to hire all year round for holidays, weekend breaks and private family engagements.
Inside the house, guests will find themselves transported to another time. The period details, such as the wood paneling, antique furnishings, and ornate fireplaces, create an atmosphere of luxury and elegance. However, modern amenities have been added to ensure that guests have everything they need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The house features a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living areas, and comfortable bedrooms with high-quality bedding.
This spacious house is ideal for family and friends to comfortably congregate and socialise. The house is heated using two methods; downstairs the heating is oil fired underfloor heating; Upstairs the heating is provided by wall mounted radiators. The house is double glazed throughout.

Taymore House has very special gardens, which are an oasis of peace and colour with an impressive collection of rare and unusual plants and provides excellent views over the Tay valley.

Taymore House boasts a magnificent dining area that exudes opulence and refinement all set against a backdrop of striking architecture and breath-taking views. It’s the ideal venue for high-end dining, whether for a private chef or catering service, and is perfect for special occasions, such as weddings or other memorable events.
KITCHEN
Taymore House’s kitchen boasts all modern amenities, including a traditional AGA stove, perfect for cooking up hearty meals. The spacious area also features a breakfast area for casual dining, while ample storage and counter space provide convenience and ease. The kitchen is truly the heart of this charming home.
UPSTAIRS
Upstairs there are a further three bedrooms and an additional bathroom with shower and bath. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, matching storage units and a large wardrobe. Another bedroom has a double bed, seating and more wardrobe space. The final bedroom has two single beds and futons to provide seating.
