The Shepherd’s Hut offers rustic accommodation in the peaceful Perthshire village of Killin. It is within the grounds of Shian (Gaelic for Fairy), a wooden bungalow perched on the crest of a hill in a residential setting with magnificent views overlooking Loch Tay and Ben Lawers. The hut accommodates up to two people with a double bed, a kitchenette with oven, hot plate and mini-fridge. There is a separate shower room with sink and toilet. Entry to the hut is via two steps. There is off-street parking available on the drive and a garden shed for hanging wet clothes or storing bikes.
Killin is a picturesque Highland Perthshire village, with sightseeing spots such as the Falls of Dochart and Loch Tay, and historical sites including Finlarig Castle and ancient standing stones. There are several great eating places in the village and outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy with opportunities for cycling, hiking, fishing and kayaking from the village.
