A large modern detached house standing in a quiet corner of St Fillans in the Trossachs National Park.  Perfect for walking, cycling, touring the area or just being away from it all.

The house is finished to a high standard, is very roomy, bright and comfortable. There are several features of this property that make it that little bit special, including a baby grand piano in the sun room, a spacious private garden to the rear, and a master bedroom with open plan en-suite.

The gravel drive will accommodate four cars with ease, two of which can be housed in the open garage.  To the rear of the house is a large private garden and patio area. Enter through the main door into a porch and on into the hall.


The sunlounge looks out towards the garden and there is a baby grand piano in this room. As you move through into the large open plan kitchen dining area, you will find everything you need for self catering, including a cooker, coffee machine, fridge and toaster. The living space features a log-burning stove, television and DVD player. There is a four-poster en-suite bedroom downstairs. A utility room and study leading off from the hall.


Stairs lead up to the landing and three bedrooms on the first floor.  The master bedroom suite, a large designer room with open plan feel, with a dividing wall between the bath room and bed. The two further bedrooms, one king size and one twin, share a family bathroom.


St Fillans has a village shop, has the larger picturesque village of Comrie 5 miles to the east and is sitting on the shores of the east end of Loch Earn.   Mountains surround this Glen with a Munro Ben Vorlich on the south side of the Loch.  This area is spoilt for choice with great Eateries within a small radius and further afield supplies the wilds of Scotland.

With four sleeping rooms, one of them like a hotel suite, a nice living room with cosy sofas combined with a great kitchen, a dining room with a piano, all tasteful decorated, and a terrace with an English lawn, we had a great time of about one and a half week. Thanks to the very friendly owner. The house is located nearby a beautiful lake, surrounded by nice hills. From here you can start to many interesting spots, areas and numerous walks.
