In accordance with UK and Scottish government directives to deal with the coronavirus outbreak, and the recent announcement that all guest accommodation has been closed down in Scotland, it is with deep regret that I have to confirm that we are now closed to the public until further guidance is received from the government.
We are a small business and this is a difficult time for us. We thank you for your understanding.
There are two options for your booking:
- For bookings during this closure period, we would be delighted to allow guests to postpone their visit either to later in 2020, or to the 2021 season. Please don’t hesitate to email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or your requirements. We are also able to keep any deposit paid as credit towards a future booking. If you keep your booking reference number we will transfer this as soon as you have new dates.
- If you want to cancel your booking, you may very well have travel insurance that will cover your stay. You may have your own separate travel insurance, or be covered by your bank account benefits, and most credit card providers also include travel insurance as a standard benefit. Please check your policy now, and if you have cover, make a claim. We will happily provide an invoice or other evidence to support your claim. These are unsettling and uncertain times for everyone. It has been hugely comforting to hear that many of our guests so far have offered to postpone and this is a great way to support us and the local community, so that we can welcome you soon and ensure that you will still eventually be able to come and enjoy this beautiful place.
