About High View

High View is a modern holiday home with views over the Highland Perthshire village of Killin and surrounding hills. It is conveniently located in the village for all the local shops and a variety of restaurants. Killin is a great place for outdoor pursuits, with canoeing on Loch Tay, cycling along the Sustrans Route 7 cycle way, and lots of hiking in the nearby mountains, including the National Ben Lawers Nature Reserve.

The house includes two king-sized bedrooms (one en-suite) and one twin room. There is also a separate family bathroom. The living room is spacious with views towards the mountains, sofa seating and a flat screen television. There is a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, induction hob, oven, kettle, cafetiere, microwave and toaster. There is a separate dining room with table and chairs seating 6. Parking is available beside the property.

Killin hosts several events throughout the year including the Agricultural show and Highland Games, the Killin Music Festival, and a fireworks show at New Year.

There is parking for two cars beside the property. A garden area runs alongside the parking and around the back of the house.


The living room is at the front of the property with views over the village and of the surrounding mountains. There is sofa seating and a large flat screen television, as well as free WiFi.


The main bathroom contains a shower, sink and toilet.


There is a twin bedroom on the ground floor. Upstairs there are two king-sized bedroom (one en-suite).


There are a variety of restaurants within walking distance of the property. Killin is also well-known for the Falls of Dochart at the top end of the village and the old watermill beside the falls. Loch Tay is easily accessible and you can hire canoes from the local outdoor centre. Fishing is also available on the loch. The Route 7 Cycle track passes through Killin and you can enjoy a route down Glen Ogle towards Lochearnhead.
