Across the bridge is the centre of the village where you will find shops, restaurants and cafes. For bike enthusiasts there are trails at the nearby Comrie Croft. There is also a 9-hole golf course near the village, fishing available on the River Earn and plenty of walks in the area.

The cottage benefits from a generous plot with 2 gardens: one contained beside the property that has a swing and a slide for children to play in; the second located on the short of Loch Earn, with loch access, a wooden jetty, a pleasant grass area and a recently constructed generous sized decking. Tolsta is a three bedroomed semi-detached house,sitting in a unique position near Loch Tay, Killin. Accessed along a mile long private road. Part of a conversion of a 200 year old stable block within a courtyard . The entrance is from the courtyard where there is a parking space. The ground floor consists of a modern kitchen with laundry room, bathroom with shower over the bath, living room with wood burning stove, and a sun room with views over the fields towards Loch Tay and the mountains.. One twin bedded room is on the first landing, the second and a double room are off the second landing, where there is also a toilet with washbasin. The kitchen is modern and fitted with electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. There is oil-fired central heating and the sun room has underfloor heating. There is free sat television, a CD/ DVD player. WiFi is available but can be patchy and is not high speed. The garden on three sides of the property also holds the blocked-up entrance to an old tunnel which led to the old Auchmore House and was used by servants to get to and from the stables without being seen by their employers. Many birds, red squirrels and the occasional deer visit can be seen from the sun room and the patio. Access to the house has one step and there is also one into the hall, two into the kitchen and several down from the sunr oom into the garden.
