Glenalbyn Cottage is located in St Fillans, a beautiful village in the heart of The Loch Lomond National Park. The large cottage boasts stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Recently redecorated, Glenalbyn is spacious, with oak flooring, large comfortable family lounge, fabulous kitchen with wood burning stove, large enclosed garden and four spacious bedrooms. It is the perfect place to switch off and relax with family or a good book, with views of the surrounding hills providing a welcome distraction.
The lounge has a large television with freesat, an Xbox/DVD player with DVDs provided, a music system and there is free wi-fi throughout. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor, with family bathroom opposite. Upstairs there is an open gallery hallway with comprehensive library, one twin room and two double bedrooms, one with ensuite.
With large established, enclosed garden it is family and pet friendly. There is parking for up to three cars and can also provide the use of three children’s bikes.

Beautiful, clean and full equipped cottage in an ideal location for exploring St Fillans. We loved the garden, being able to walk to the pubs and loch.

Overlooking the River Earn and a short stroll to the southern shore of Loch Earn. The village is located in the north east of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, which is in the southern highlands of Scotland. It is a great place for exploring Scotland with your family. Many popular destinations are within easy reach from the cottage by car, and it is easily accessible from the main cities of Scotland. Both Edinburgh and Glasgow, where the main airports are located, are just over a one hour drive from the cottage.
Within and near St. Fillans, there are many activities to enjoy such as walking, golf, fishing, canoeing, boating, bird watching or simply sitting in the sun and feeding the residential ducks. There are also challenging walks such as Dundurn hill – a small but steep rocky knoll, the site of the Pictish fort as well as the cell of Saint Fillan. The walk offers stunning views and a chance to explore from the village to which Fillan gave his name.
Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth are just over an hour’s drive away. Glencoe for skiing in the winter months is also accessible.
