Tom na Voil

Tom na Voil sits at the foot of Kirkton Glen, a very comfortable cottage on the Carnegie Estate in Balquhidder. The accommodation has been extended and  is on two levels connected by 3 very shallow steps. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, the house will comfortably accommodate 6 people.

The location is extremely peaceful and a particular feature is the lack of any light pollution at night, giving amazing starry skies.

Tom na Voil is surrounded by beautiful landscape in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. There is a wealth of wild flowers, including wild orchids and alpine Lady’s mantle.

Testimonials

“My husband and I have just stayed at Tom na Voil cottage for 2 weeks. The cottage inside was very clean and tidy, the outside doesn’t quite reflect the same standards but that didn’t affect our holiday at all. The rooms are all very good sizes, the beds very comfortable, the bed linen & towels are really good quality and the cottage was very well equipped. The welcome pack was also generous and much appreciated. We booked the cottage for the quiet location and it did not disappoint. The direct neighbours’ property is very close but we still enjoyed our space in this very peaceful location. In fact the neighbours actually offered us some advice on walks in the area and also loaned us a compass, as we’d left ours at home, so that was very helpful. The drying room is excellent for getting wet clothing and boots dry overnight. A real bonus for us. If you want a holiday in a secluded peaceful location, within easy driving distance to Callander, Aberfoyle & Killin, then this is the place for you. Definitely recommended.”
